I went to look at one of my blue tit boxes a couple of weeks back and discovered a colony of white bum bees had taken up residence in there. They are still swarming in and out in large numbers. The strange thing is….we haven’t seen many bees on our garden plants this year, despite being in the garden a lot over the last couple of months. Maybee they forage elsewhere and just “live” here.
