I like my landscape pictures to be very fine grained or grainless.
A fair point, but realistically are you ever going to do much cropping on a landscape photo?
It’s cropping that draws attention to grain/noise which is more the domain of long lens subjects.
I think I would rather take what a 25mp sensor gives and make it sharper, than reduce noise (make softer) a 45mp sensor reveals after cropping. I’ve always been a noise hunter. lol
