This is one of my very early studio portraits taken in 1959 (I was 19yrs ) when I was a trainee in Kodak's advertising studios and part time photo student at Regent Street Polly in London. Taken on an 8x10-inch studio camera with 8x10-inch sheet B&W film. Studio lighting with large MR spots and flood lights. My uncle, Mr Bill Pratt MS FRCS, was retiring after a life as very senior surgeon and the RCS required a formal portrait. My photo also won several awards.
