We were watching an programme about the 1962 big freeze. Reminiscing about the silence that heavy snowfalls seem to bring.
In my youth in Yorkshire it was common place to have days with a foot or more snow on pavements, trying to tread in others footsteps.
Unless we move to Scotland I fear we won’t seem many more snowfalls like this again….
