Your first thoughts about drivers were correct it seems, I went digging
on apples download sight and found an epson specific driver and made a huge difference on a scale of -5 to +5 they have gone fron a -4 to a +3 so I just need to burn some more paper and ink and then record the settings and we will be good, well would you believe so so and that is almost a deffinate maybe 
:rasper:all this has been done with the epson 810 I have not been able to get really great prints from it they are better now so on to the r2000 which has always done very well so should be easy RIGHT!!!!!! LOLall the best Ed
