I took about 15 images then the camera refused to make another exposure, I checked the top screen and where the number of exposures is usually shown it displayed (I think) REC I tried to view the images I had exposed but the message on the screen said 'No images on this card'.
As I was photographing one of my Marlin cars, I was not too concerned about the loss of the images so I reformatted the card again. Normality was restored and I continued photographing the car. I did not remove the card or check the seating. I took a further 80 exposures with no issues.
The battery was slightly down but at least half of the pictures were taken with the built in flash and the battery indicator still shows about one third remaining.
Any ideas?
