It would appear that they are not the only ones if the rumours are right as they are suggesting that Canon is doing the same thing.

I think that the D400 will be still born as it looks like Nikon is trying to push FX for pro use and DX for it lower level cameras. It would appear that they are not the only ones if the rumours are right as they are suggesting that Canon is doing the same thing.
