The D4 uses a EH-6b adapter and a different connector to the EH-6 adapter I think. Nikon site says..... The EH-6b AC Adapter is an AC Adapter that can power select Nikon D-SLR cameras (only D4, not D3, D3S or D3X) from an AC power source, useful when shooting long sessions. It requires the use of the EP-6 power supply connector.
