Thanks Gilbert. I looked at the PDF version of the D4 manual on NikonUSA, and on page 393 it states that the EP-6 battery chamber adapter with the EH-6b AC adapter is needed for AC power, however, in parentheses it says that an EH-6 adapter may be used. The site doesn't yet list a spec sheet for the EH-6b as it does for the EH-6 and EH-6a (both have the same output specifications). Maybe I have my answer? - EdM
