its certainly looking that way gary ,the a/f and burst rate alone more than compensate for a few lost megapixels .got a grabbed burst of a buzzard last thing today that shows the potential of it .i suppose if and when they produce a d400 and hopefully incorporate the best of both cameras we will have a wildlife ideal rig.
