It would appear Nikon USA has instituted a new policy whereby one can no longer buy parts for your camera or lens. Even the simplest of parts are no longer available according to Thom Hogan. they are forcing all customers to send in the camera or lens to get a $10 lost screw installed so they can stiff you with a repair bill that is not necessary. They are even trying to eliminate private Nikon repair sites. How's that for customer service. USA customers check out http://www.bythom.com. Going to be interesting to see if they start this practice in other markets of the world. Makes one start using the Canon word
