horrible thought but the only logical solution imho .
.its not war ,not as we know it ,to them at the top its purely birth control

the future as seen by isaac azimov (a american of russian descent) would be run by robots pampering to humans every need .but it would need a stable population to achieve that goal .personally i can't see this planet becoming a nice place to live till after the next world war lowers the population to a sustainable level . horrible thought but the only logical solution imho . .its not war ,not as we know it ,to them at the top its purely birth control
