I suspect the time has come to ask yourselves "why am I posting my images on the Internet at all?"

I am even nervous about sending clients work via large file transfer or Dropbox because they could well be the next to say "finders keepers".

I definitely understand that reaction, but you just can't miss the opportunity that the technology gives us.

You just have to do what you can to stay safe...Dropbox, for instance, let's you give someone the link but password protect it - then delete the folder after the client downloads it.

As much as I hate the idea of getting robbed, there are a LOT of people who have used FB, Flickr, and other sites as great marketing places. I just have a hard time putting in the effort they do :-)

I understand the opportunities....it just think the consequences need to be thought out first.

I guess that I no longer feel the urge to stick my head up above the parapet and shout " look at me, look at me!"...... come to think of it, I don't think I ever did.
