you will love that setup for a long time ian ,its good and fast ,canons 7d burst mode is to die for ,the 400 f5.6 can be used all day long at 5.6 without a missed shot ,the only problems being you cannot extend the range via a t/c and the 3.5 mtr close focussing will grate on your nerves after a while . if by any chance your after a good buy my lad is selling a sigma 100-300 f2.8 os only six months old hardly used (its to heavy for him) at a good open to offers price .if your interested either p.m me for details or you can see it advertised on "bird forum"
