 I wonder how it will perform against the D7000 in terms of IQ?

I have alaways shied away from the smaller camera bodies but having worked with the X100 for a while I have become accustomed to holding the smaller camera differently. So the D7000 isnt the pain it first was. I wonder if (when compared to the X100) even the D3200 might be a lightweight walkaround option.

It all boils down to image quality.
