Well I have become a big fan on the American show 'The Big Bang Theory' the characters are sublime and some of the humour quite subtle.
Initially the title put me off and I 'judged a book by it's cover' and avoided it but after watching a couple of episodes with a friend and beginning to understand the character nuances I was hooked.
"The Big Bang Theory" is my favorite also. Took me a couple of episodes also to get into the characters. I find it very well done. Fortunately, they are running reruns on one station and the new weekly also so I have been able to see it from the beginning. Brilliant set of writers.
However, when it comes to murder mysteries, I really like "Midsummer Murders" and "Inspector Lewis".
You would never feel safe living in Midsommer...10 murders a week!
It's a wonder there is any population left after a tv series
I was under the impression that the series was winding down due to lack of available murder victims. I suppose the final episode will be DS Jones killing DCI Barnaby when Barnaby has Jones walk through the mud one more time in his dress shoes - enough is enough and Jones can only take being a lackey for so long. Jones will become DCI and crime will be officially stopped in Midsommer.
I must also disappoint you because on Monday (tomorrow) we will be watching Robbie Lewis's last case!!!
I am indeed very sad. I really liked the Lewis and Hathaway's characters and how they complemented each other. Unfortunately, Netflix only has allowed me two seasons worth. Sometimes theres just no justice.
:-(
Watching it at this very moment. Won't spoil it for you!
Enjoy! Probably 2 more years before it will be available on Netflix.
