I have been having a major cull of my mainstream photo's. Two reasons, they have been growing in number and have reached almost 20,000. They were at 38,000 before my last cull down to 12,000. Also having stopped work, I want to extract all the 'work' images and concentrate on my interests. Anyway I have been working my way through them for two days and have reached about one third point when I realised I have not been DELETING all the images, only removing some of them from Lightroom... DOH! I have tried import and there are 2,175 images available to import, so I must have only 'removed' them from the Lightroom database, as opposed to deleting them from the Hard Drive. My question is, before I re- import them is there any way of marking these image files during import so I can easily select them all and actually delete them without having to go back to square one and manually select and delete them all again individually.
