I "Copy as DNG" having decided some time ago that this was the format I was going to use (JK strongly disagrees with this strategy!).

Back to the topic of imports unlike Robert I use LR for nearly my entire work flow including the importing of images from the card. I use the Date naming sequence built into LR, which automatically generates a folder structure very similar to the one Robert showed us and uses. I "Copy as DNG" having decided some time ago that this was the format I was going to use (JK strongly disagrees with this strategy!).
