The d800, while it will do sports etc, it is in my opinion aimed at studio/landscape photographers.

The D4 is aimed at a different market, it's a press/sports camera built tough and fast shooting. The d800, while it will do sports etc, it is in my opinion aimed at studio/landscape photographers.
