Nice shots, Graham.

I agree on the D800. The only time you need a D3 or D4 is sports or other machine gun type shooting IMHO.

Aside from the advantages you mention, the D800 is quite a bit lighter and more manageable for my hands... As I age, I find the D3 getting heavier and heavier :-)
