tried to add a couple of pics to the gallery last night ,fully logged in only to come up with a message
you dont have permission to upload photos

Are you sure you are,logged into the gallery?
I had a situation some time back, where I was logged in to the forum but I still needed to log into the gallery.,
It resolved itself ....but I seem to recall at the time it was a browser effect....changing browser solved it.
That probably doesn't help, sorry.
