What rotten luck Eric.Probably is...may now look for it.
Isn't there a setting which prevents exposures when no card is present? I seem to remember activating that on my D200 after I has spent some time taking masterpieces when I first got the D200, only to discover there was no card present...
Edit...yes, just found and set it.
I will now be ready for 2019 when its offspring comes back.
