I have Tinker Tool installed - they updated it last week or I would have forgotten about it (I subscribe to MacUpdate and they reminded me
.But Marianne doesn't have TinkerTool on her macs and she also has the flying windows.
You're right, it doesn't fly open on Open, just Reply...but I find it very very annoying and almost motions sickness feeling like iOS 7 (which let you decrease the animation) when replying to lots of emails...arrrgh
