I have heard the iPhone will but I haven't noticed any comment about the iPad in this respect.

IPad 3 does, 1 & 2 don't. I use mine every day and in ways that keep evolving. Get one and I think you'll grow to love it.
I was very skeptical till my wife got one, after that I knew I needed one.
