Perhaps I need to play with it, The only body I have converted to IR is the D1, I would have liked to have transplanted the D1 filter over to a D200 body but it's too small.

I wonder if it would fit the 3100, that would be handy with live view, perhaps.

BTW, I did notice one advantage on the D300 compared with the D200, the rear viewing screen is a bit larger, with my eyes getting worse now for close work, a larger screen is a big help
