Rich is the Lr expert around here, I use it a lot for evaluating images, DAM and temp fixes to snaps. Any serious image editing I do in Ps5. Not so much because Lr can't handle it but because I know Ps5 better.

One area which I use a lot is cloning and layering images for focus bracketing which I do in Ps5.

Probably your best move is to watch some of the tutorial videos to be found on the Adobe site. I found a lot of functions by watching them.
