Could some give a link or an opinion about the number of actuations a nikon DSLR can have?

Thanks, in advance

Take a look at this site Kathy:

http://www.olegkikin.com/shutterlife/

No commentary but perhaps useful data? The sample level is rather low to be really meaningful.

Kathy,
re: a nikon DSLR can have
The design life varies by model
Professional modela have a range of 200.000 and up.
Product brochures ususally have some remarks on the designed shutter life.
Note however: those numbers are the designed (and presumably tested) cylcle-lifetimes, with a sample of one, one may not be so lucky.
The list Robert points to is a collection of voluntary (anonymous) observations.

Depending on the Nikon camera model the shutter life is 100000 or 150000 or 200000.
Remember these are MBTF numbers so are not absolute but weighted averages!

I have heard of cameras with 250000 actuations!
