No, not me but the tog who owned this camera must have been sobbing. No chance of retrieval!! Of course, she may have eaten the tog then stolen the camera...:-O

I wonder if the insurance company would regard that as leaving the camera unattended and refuse to pay up, had it been damaged?

Might have been an insurance claim until it got on Facebook. Yet another reason to never engage in Facebook posting.

I made an enquiry of my insurance company last week regarding the loss of a personal possession while on holiday. I initially wanted to know if the item was covered. The man came back on the phone to say the item was covered....so I joyfully gushed the true story of how it was lost. He laughed at the amusing story....then told me it wasn't covered under those circumstances.

If only I had not rushed into divulging what really happened, thought about possible disclaimers, and massaged the story of the loss!!! aarrrggh!

Well it was a Canon so probably very chewable!

Hmmm, my latest underwater camera is a Canon G12. Better watch out for large sea predators!
