You old-timer's will probably remember me, but I haven't been around for a while, so I think i was removed from the membership.

So I signed back up and hope to be a little more visible. Just purchased a new D4, and still have my D7000. Dropped the D2X on concrete and smashed beyond repair - thus the D4.

I originally joined in 2001, and was pretty active until i went mostly video, but still shoot quite a bit of commercial photo stuff.

Anyway, good to be back.

Thanks,
Brad

Welcome back Brad. Video has been a pretty hot topic here lately as well as anything related to the D800.

I have to say dropping your D2X on the concrete to get a new D4 was just brilliant. I am afraid my wife would have seen through that in a heart beat.

Welcome back Brad, none of the accounts on the old forum were closed, but the old forum became so flaky and troublesome that we have started completely afresh.

Look forward to your posts, still or video.

I have all the content and many of the images from the second life of the forum 2000 to 2006 but the format changed from 2006 to 2012 to a format we haven't been able to unravel, so although I intend to have another go, getting the data from the third life of the forum will be a challenge.

Welcome back Brad, as Robert says none of the accounts on the old forum were closed, but the old forum became so flaky and troublesome that we have started completely afresh.

Good to have you back on board.
