A tad (OK, more than a tad) expensive but it's a true mirrorless D850. Zero hot pixels after 450 second exposure.

I want one!

You would be in seventh heaven.

Would this mean you wouldnt need the delay between taking your long exposures?

Yep, and I could have really long exposures too! Star trails with a single exposure.

Also I could make pictures of nebula and stuff like that! Eighth heaven!

Got to say that if you are into astrophotography then this is a real snip considering the work done tothe camera.

It seems very well thought out, I like the way they have simply used the camera as a receptacle and foundation both their sensor mount/lens adaptor, the filter holder is a nice touch.

I would expect in use you would use a larger screen to view the image.

They also do a modification service, if you have a D810 gathering dust then they will mod it for Astro with a similar setup to cool the sensor and prevent condensation of the optics.

If someone is really keen on good astro photography, I think the cost of the modification is quite modest.

Be interesting to know at what ambient temp the samples were taken as the TEC relies ao ambient.

Could be really cold if taken in Canada, where the high for the day is often -40:lol:
