I am unable to create a gallery as personal galleries aren't enabled.

I am working on a project at the moment that I would like some opinions on so I would like to enable this if possible.

Login to gallery using your forum login/password.
You need to go DOWN one level to your personal gallery root, then create Albums or load images there.
