Today Nikon finally released the 800mm f5.6 AFS VR lens with dedicated x1.25 teleconverter which gives a 1000mm f7.1 lens.
It only weighs 4.6kg for those who might consider getting one.
If you have a spare $18000 then maybe a good investment!!!
I dont think I can afford this lens this side of my Ferrari 455.

In its dedicated carrying case, it may not fit in your Ferrari.

PS warning, the spec does not say so, but it is a G-type lens.

Gilbert, It definitely wont fit in my Ferrari as I can only afford the scale model!
