Here is my second photo for comments. in the previous post I seem to have posted the image the wrong way. It does not show up in the post but only as a link. Hope this image shows up!

This was taken with a Pentax MX with 150 mm tele prime lens on Fujichrome 100 transparency film.

Comments are most welcome.

With best regards

Lovely image. The only change I would make would be to change the angle slightly. I think it's an optical illusion because the boat is pointing away slightly but it looks a little like it's going up hill to me. I'd straighten this up a little, but it's a very small point (and quite possibly a matter of subjective opinion). It is a lovely image.

I agree with Rich, the angle isn't quite right...it actually 'spoils' the tranquility a bit because it feels a tad 'uncomfortable'.

I dont know if you do any digital manipulation ? But if you do, then rotating the image clockwise a few degrees will correct the angle.

I would also consider (you have to see if this works) cropping the image tighter from the right, top and bottom. Not sure the house above the mist, adds anything and could take your eye to the top right away from the subject.,I would look at cropping it out and then balancing the top and bottom to match. But it's a lovely image.

Thank you very much Eric. Sorry for the delay in replying. I was away in China & most of the time I could not get internet!!

The picture is a scanned image from a Fujichrome transparency. I have to check if it has enough resolution for cropping or digital manipulation as it was scanned as a jpeg image by a service provider.

Best regards
