Canon have brought out the 7D mkii and looking at the specs it looks quite impressive. I wonder if Nikon will respond? http://www.dpreview.com/articles/1922019783/the-wait-is-over-canon-eos-7d-mark-ii-first-impressions-review/

Nikon only seem to make FF cameras. I would be very happy if Nikon respond with a new professional grade replacement for the D300S.

I certainly hope that a D400 will arrive sooner rather than later but the D7100 seems to be Nikon's best in the DX range but it doesnt have the build of the D300.

Like we have discussed before. The latest technology is now more evolutionary than revolutionary! I cant say that I have felt excited by any of the new cameras since the D3, even though I have purchased a D600 and D800. The new Fuji XT1 camera is more interesting and has some fine new technology but again it is not revolutionary.
