Did you notice the hotspot on the dragon photo? ![]() http://nikondslr.uk/photos/showphoto.php?photo=1078&title=dscf5760&cat=599 This is the 18-135 that people claim hasn't got a hot spot! If uncorrected it leaves a blue cast (central shadow area)when adjusting the yellow and red colours. ![]()

I wanted to buy the two girls with the harp, to go in my garden ( for some inexplicable reason). Regretfully, priced at £30,000, I decided it was a bit of an extravagance. ![]()

Purchase the ladies and write off against tax? ![]() Actually I cant see any hotspot in the dragon. Your photoshop is too good. There is a distracting small white/pale blue dot which just needs a wipe with the healing brush between the body and the right wing. I wont ask how much the dragon was. ![]() Where were the photos taken? BTW: I will change the links in posts so that they show directly in the thread so people dont have to oscillate between posts and gallery.

'People' haven't a clue about normal spectrum photography let alone IR in many cases.

jk wrote:Purchase the ladies and write off against tax? Thanks ...can you link the others into the thread as there's was more than one surprise in the wood. ![]() No photoshopping apart from adjusting the whites....I think the twig in front of the girls is more distracting than the dragon spot...but I guess the bronze bottom takes your eye from everything. ![]() They were not meant as 'finished' articles...just a bit of fun If you open the dragon in PS and max the saturation you will see the hotspot more clearly as it appears blue against the boosted yellows and reds.
