This brings about some serious questions of ownership if you set up a camera but don't actually press the shutter button.

Happens when I set up my trail camera and an animal triggers the camera.

I would have thought the copyright belongs to the camera (owner) that took the picture.

Of course this might be too logical for a politician to enact into law and so there are more opportunities for test cases for lawyers. (Who are frequently politicians).
