Just completed my last commercial photography shoot. 700 images thinned, sorted, adjusted and sent to the client....along with the last PhotoFX invoice of course.

Now what?

Mmmm Easter is only round the corner, I started to finish my en-suit for Christmas in September, I almost managed it but in the process I demolished the chimney, removed the chimney breast in my bedroom, re-plasterd upstairs, rebuilt the stairs and made a new ceiling in the kitchen, Oh and I relaid the drains. I am still working on it but now I have a new garden too...

Then I wonder why I am a bit tired! It was easier before I retired AND I got paid for my labours then!

It's a different dimension to your gargantuan labours, Robert. Just new shower area, sanitary ware, fittings and furniture.....plus some tiling. With a little (make that lot of) help from my friends....a weeks work.

Jan's planning a 4week trip to France afterwards ....perhaps she will take me.

Put your feet up with a nice glass of vino and contemplate the bathroom later in the year - after the trip to France followed by a wee cruise and a weekend away somewhere. You need time to catch up on all those books you were going to read...

Eric, Hope now that you are finished working that you will have a chance to get down here to Spain. You can come anytime, you know you are welcome.
This morning walking the dogs it was 9C so it does get cool here!

We didn't get into France last year for various domestic reasons. So this jaunt will be getting back into the swing of it again. Probably only go as far as the Dordogne this Spring. We have been thinking about touring Sandanavia but I don't fancy ferry hopping all those Atlantic coast islands and fijords towing a trailer. May consider getting a motorhome for that expedition n 2017.

Of course that may all change if we leave the EU. We may not be welcome on that side of Le Manche.
