Thanks JK. Beginning to feel a bit more human now and I am sure the year will improve. Big birthday and a Golden wedding to look forward to.

Keep it that way.
All the best for getting over the shingles.
Zovirax or Acyclovir cream is best. ;-) I helped develop it 30 years ago.
:applause::-) :-)

OK, a question to all.

Why do you need to change the copyright date? I dont have a date on my copyright signature.

In UK copyright is for 70 years from its creation date. It doesnt therefore require a date unless you wish to assign it to another person in which case the copyright period is 25-30 years. I cant temember this detail.

Of course if you are a lawyer then this becomes more complex as it is of interest in litigation.
We do love to make simple thing complex!

In USA this is different. Biggest difference is that copyright extends to 70 years post the death of the creator.

It helps nail the creation date. Especially in the case of an image or print separated from it's NEF, that's why I add the creation year, also as an aid-memoir as to the creation date for my own benefit.

I won't be around in 70 years time to bother!

It wasn't a valid claim of copyright without the date in the good old days. Don't know about now, just not taking any chances.
