I really hate to say it but British Comedy is head and shoulders above US and not only that but it's clean in the most part. My favorite show for many years was 'As Time Goes By'. I hate to say it but I am totally addicted to British television.

Well you used to have the very funny Archie Bunker in the USA. The USA answer to Alf Garnett. That was very funny.

Well I have become a big fan on the American show 'The Big Bang Theory' the characters are sublime and some of the humour quite subtle. Initially the title put me off and I 'judged a book by it's cover' and avoided it but after watching a couple of episodes with a friend and beginning to understand the character nuances I was hooked.

Took me a couple of episodes also to get into the characters. I find it very well done. Fortunately, they are running reruns on one station and the new weekly also so I have been able to see it from the beginning. Brilliant set of writers. However, when it comes to murder mysteries, I really like "Midsummer Murders" and "Inspector Lewis".

Hi! I will put my vote in for Top Gear, and the BBC just great entertainment. Most of the ---- from here is just that. i hate the reality shows so real they have scripts, Huuuuumm Ed I don't go crazy! I am crazy! I just go normal! From time to time!

While I might be afraid to live in Midsomer I would have no hesitation to live wherever Tom Barnaby retired to. Subscribe to Amazon Prime just to get all the British Mysteries. One of my current favorites being Second Chance. I watched all of Morse, and could give only a warm reception to my hero Frost. Like Inspector Lynley and all the other programs especially my late wifes favorite Benny Hill, who could make a double entendre seem like a triple. There must be something wrong ,I like British TV,Steak & Kidney Pie and British rifles. I must have a retro gene somewhere that just pops up.

I suppose the final episode will be DS Jones killing DCI Barnaby when Barnaby has Jones walk through the mud one more time in his dress shoes - enough is enough and Jones can only take being a lackey for so long. Jones will become DCI and crime will be officially stopped in Midsommer.
