I am unable to log in on my desk PC if I am still logged in on the iPad. Is this normal?
I don't seem to be timed out/ logged off automatically on the iPad. So if I forget to manually log off I can't access the forum from another computer?

I have my ipad and my Macbook Air logged in to the site. Both working fine.
Not sure why this should be happening for you.

Might this be different for Admin status JK?
I will test it later.

Dont know but possibly. That is the problem when you use an account with top level priviledge it is difficult to see how it works for other posters.

Which is why I call on 'Pam' occasionally!
OK, I am logged in as Pam upstairs on the MM Server, downstairs I am using the MBP also logged in as Pam.
Both are connected by wi-fi. Slightly oddly when I logged in as Pam upstairs I was still logged in as Robert down here, yet I didn't show up in the list of on-line users.
Anyway it seems to work for me. I will make another post from upstairs in a minute.
Perhaps it's an iPad thing... :dumpbricks;
JK, Why not create a normal account for testing?

OK, still logged in as Pam, now on the MMServer upstairs. Seems to be working as expected.

OK back as myself! on MM Server will now try MBP

Well it works OK here. Logged in on two Macs using the same username at the same time with no problems.
Must get 'Pam' a nice avatar.

If it isn't an iPad thing then perhaps it's a Windows issue given that it's the PC which won't log in concurrently?
JK?

On the iPad I get all sorts of problems with posting and formatting.
It is something to do with Safari and the other forum's software. Very strange.

Seems to be an IE9 issue. Firefox logs in ok.

In my usual confused state I am thinking...who is Pam and why does she know us so well?

I still don't log out automatically. No hurry. I just thought you'd want to know.

Seems to! For now...

Will mention it if I find issues!
