Hi All,

Just popped in to see how everybody was doing. I've been keeping a eye on the forum but not posting as I'm a bit out of date with the newer Nikons.

A few of my wildlife mates have gone to the D800 and the D7100, the only complaint I have heard is about the D7100 having a small buffer.

Hope everybody is well and I'll catch up later.

Hi Iain,
Glad to see you back and posting.

If you want to post a comparison between your Canon and Nikon that would be good.

It might be a bit unfair as the only Nikon I have access to is my mates D800 and I'm using a Canon 1Dx now.

Although in saying that we are both using them for wildlife.Let me have a think!

You get rouge cameras in every make. One of my friends got a 5Dmk3 and the shutter went after 600 shots, got it replaced and the second one is fine.

Thanks Iain! Great shot! Don't be a stranger, I don't care what brand of camera was used - it's just a great photograph.

I was going to put some photos into my Gallery but it seems I'm not allowed for some reason even though I have two in there already.

JK, help :praying2:

Iain, Try clicking on the My Gallery link in the left side menus, then go into Albums and then Upload Image link.
Sometimes you need to also Login in the Gallery as there seems to be times when the username and password isnt passed forward from the Forum login.

Thanks JK
I thought it was about time I put up something I shoot instead of a portrait (LOL)
I love the planes from that era, They are built with love and are true works of art.
I am very lucky to have so many fine examples in this area.

Take care and be well
