-13 F (- 25 C), wind chill -35      Haven't seen temps like that since I was a child.

+9ºC, wet, windy and very soggy! Warmest winter so far that I can remember. Have only scraped ice from car once so far, that was in November. The forecast is not to expect any cold weather this month.

I would much prefer cold and frosty with nice sunny days. I have a saying after a lifetime of working outside in the construction industry: You can work hard and keep warm but not keep dry, if your wet, your cold.

I have to agree with you Robert, cold and frosty for me as well but not as cold as Kathy is having.

In St Louis it's a balmy -7F with wind chill at -28F after 12 inches of snow. It's dry fluffy snow so the high winds keep blowing it back to the places you just shoveled.

We got off easy with only about a foot of snow and no freezing rain. North and east of us got it much worse. Will be getting the snow blower out for a cleanup after the plows finish clearing the roads and dumping a drift in the driveway ;~).

Goodness me this is too cold for me.

We are currently 9C at night and 17C in the day. That is really nice.

I dont like that white stuff except in photos or at a distance.

Tom hopefully you arent getting these cold temperatures.
Not unless you go across to Yosemite which I guess has restricted opening if the weather is so extreme.

Perhaps the woodpeckers and owls knew something we didn't...

Another day over 40° in South Oz.  46 predicted today.

No relief expected until at least the weekend.      :whip:

A nice fine day is one thing, 46º is not.

We fell short - 44° only.

I remember being at Moomba this time of year setting up for a country music show for the gas workers.  54° in the shade.  Now that is bloody hot - but dry heat.

I actually like it other than the bush fires. Definitely a hot weather person.

Me too. Never had a problem when we were at Aldinga and it was 40+C, just relax in the shade.
