Parting with my longest piece of glass, as I really never use it. (Of course, as soon as I sell it, I'm going to find a use for it again...). I've only used it a handful (not handheld!) of times for both sports and birding (eagles specifically). It's a large slower zoom lens that gives you an effective 750mm on a crop sensor Nikon. Definitely need a tripod though as it's pretty heavy. Check the reviews for more specifics. I'll see if I can find some old shots with this bad boy too...

Make me an offer - both caps, foot,  hood, and sigma branded soft-ish carrying case. Beautiful condition and I don't think there's even a blemish on the paintwork.

I'll probably only ship it somewhere in the states though, so if you're across the pond and interested, we'll need to chat.

Buy it before I change my mind and take it with me to Wyoming next month and get mauled by a moose!

I was enjoy the Olympix's :-) But the commercials were killing that enjoyment. So I started taping them and watching them later.. I found I could watch four hours of tape in about 1 1/2 hours time, by fast forwarding through the commercials.. The old Mother Country did herself proud!!!

I know it's hard to believe, but it's still available! Any takers before I list it on eBay?

Saw one in the shops recently. Looks like a nice lens if you are doing outdoor sport work.
I'd keep it for your horse events it is ideal if a little heavy but it has a great focal range.
