A minor improvement to the look of the forum, I have removed the "Comment on this image" hyperlink under photos posted to threads and made the image itself the link to comments and full EXIF, so just click on the image itself to go there. In its place I have now displayed the basic image data of camera, f/ number, speed and ISO, which makes it much easier to get a feel for the settings. Here is an example of the new layout which will be effective for NEW images uploaded, old images retain the previous links as they are loaded at the time the post is made, not when it is viewed.  NIKON D610 f/5.6 Speed 1/500 ISO 200

Thanks for the thanks - appreciated! It only took about three days to work out how to extract the image name from the javascript of the editor and send that to the server to be processed, returned and displayed .... then I had fun getting EXIF data out of the wierd fractions the camera manufacturers use and translate it into human format - ie speed of 10/5000 becomes 1/500 - I hope I have caught all the possible variations but there may be the odd glitch turn up  Shame that the PHP read_exif_data function does not pick up the lens data - other readers do, I will see if I can harness one of them.

I have now changed the EXIF function to one that gives a lot more detail - including shutter count. So the images now get lens specs as well.  NIKON D610 f/5.0 Speed 1/125 ISO 200 AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED

Eric - see my response on the thread - the D3 stores ISO differently - I have reloaded after fixing code to catch the ISO data - now shows correctly. JK - I need to add Manufacturer info for Fuji!

I bet you are really glad you started this, Chris? Sorry for all the jumbled data. Doesn’t help if I keep changing cameras AND manufacturers.
