Auto focus is on C and 25 Points. As stated hardly any un-sharp pixs even with flight shots.

Another 2 pics at owl shoot with graham, using D500 with 80-400 4.5-5.6 G ED VR lens. Camera settings iso 640; f6.3; 1/1250sec; focal length in 35mm - 120mm; with -0.33 compensation. Attachment: European eagle owl 2.jpg (Downloaded 65 times)

This is the Eagle Owle also in failing light and rain! 1/400 sec f6.3 ISO 1000 lens at 200mm and still pin sharp. We both hand held all our shots as we needed to be mobile. Attachment: Eagle Owle 1577.jpg (Downloaded 70 times)
