Iain, some of the other bank settings have also changed as well as the Mode setting. I think it changes the Preview exposure setting in viewfinder value as well as I had mine set to Always but it was changed from this to one of the other values.

That’s odd as I’ve been through mine and nothing has changed.

Yes I updated to the new v3.0 firmware this morning. Iain, this firmware should be really good for you as it allows focus limiting which great for birding.

For those that are interested firmware 3.01 is now out for Z8 fixing the third party lens problem.
