I took this shot at the weekend at 20000 ISO weather was bad and light was poor. I have done nothing with this image and am quite surprised how it came out.

The Z9 is a beast of a camera.
Have you updated to the latest v5.30 firmware?  The AF is meant to be significantly improved, I am still waiting to test mine but the buzzards have not been over my house recently.

As I said in the firmware thread, I've taken about 1500 shots since update and found no problems. It might be me but focus seems a bit more positive and sticky.

No I still have the Z9, Z8, Z7, Zf.  My preference is the Zf but each of the others has a unique niche where it is the camera of preference.
