I was at Farlington Marsh (just East of Portsmouth) today very little there, but this flock of ducks flew in. Searched my books and am unable to see what they are. Any ideas?

Happy St. Stephen’s Day

On this day young men across Europe used to dress as Wren Boys and parade the streets with a caged Wren on a pole to celebrate and honour this King of Birds.

I prefer honouring it close up and free flying.
