Perhaps this may provide inspiration to somebody, hopefully visible outside the UK.

Thanks Robert, great photos there I enjoyed the show. I am not sure I agree with the winners, but then it's just my own tastes showing through.

Glad you enjoyed them!

I don't really see how you can have a 'winner' the standard is so high, mostly it's down to personal preferences.

Great stuff, Robert.

Rare to see that many inspiring pix in one vid.

Pleased you can see them outside the UK, the BBC seem to filter some content so it's only available here.

Some very nice images and examples of cropping for greater impact.

Thanks for sharing

Some super pix thanks for that Robert. I thought the Paris People pix were great but Scotland weather left me cold!

I've just had two weeks holiday in Scotland in the Highlands and it rained every day. Pix is Nikon D800 with 24-70 AF-S Lens.

I came by you recently as I flew into Bristol to go down to Taunton.
Out of 10 days in UK, one day of mixed showers, one sunny day and eight rainy with 9 days of thick cloud.
Hmmm.
I know why I live in Spain.  Today swimming in the pool - air temperature 28C, water temperature 25C.

Love the pic of the highland coos, Graham. Lovely Scottish weather on display there. :-)

Just had a look at the BBC video. The winners were my least favourite photos! I'm not sure the weather pics fitted the theme of travel.
