A young girl, Martha Payne (Veg) took it upon herself to photograph and record in a blog, her school dinners, marking and commenting on them.

This caused such a stir that it was covered in a national paper which resulted in her being banned by her school from photographing her meals.

The social media went mad, her blog went from 2 million hits this morning to almost 4 million as I type this.

Went from £2,000 this morning to £46,000 as I type.

I understand this is called the Barbra Streisand effect, the more you try to suppress something the more interest it attracts.

Quite an inspiring story, burocrats at the council sticking their nose in where they don't belong I see.
